A DEADLY MASS SHOOTING AT A RIVERSIDE RESTAURANT SATURDAY NIGHT.

SOUTHPORT, NORTH CAROLINA. THE SUSPECT, 40-YEAR-OLD NIGEL MAX EDGE,
ALLEGEDLY PULLED UP TO THE RESTAURANT BY BOAT AND OPENED FIRE INTO A
CROWD—KILLING THREE PEOPLE AND INJURING AT LEAST EIGHT OTHERS. SOUTHPORT
POLICE CHIEF TODD CORING CONFIRMED EDGE HAS BEEN CHARGED WITH THREE
COUNTS OF FIRST-DEGREE MURDER AND FIVE COUNTS OF COMMON LAW ATTEMPTED
FIRST-DEGREE MURDER. AUTHORITIES BELIEVE THE ATTACK WAS PREMEDITATED. THE
INVESTIGATION REMAINS ONGOING.
